THE BATTLE OF IWO JIMA
The Battle of Iwo Jima (19 February – 26 March 1945) was a major battle in which the U.S. Marines landed on and eventually captured the island of Iwo Jima

from the Japanese Imperial Army during World War II.  The American invasion, designated Operation Detachment, had the goal of capturing the entire island,

including the three Japanese-controlled airfields (including the South Field and the Central Field), to provide a staging area for attacks on the Japanese main islands.

This five-week battle comprised some of the fiercest and bloodiest fighting of the War in the Pacific of World War II.

Americanism and American Patriotism are one and the same.

~

“Americanism was the Honorable and Brave Spirit of our forefathers
based upon an absolute moral belief and ever faithful trust in basic human rights
upheld and defended with invincible determination that forged a great nation, our nation.
It is that same spirit that remains the lifeblood of our country and it comes from the heart and soul of a true American.”

~Petty Officer Jim Cava, United States Navy Retired, American Patriot (1948-

“Americanism is

Loyal Support, Everlasting Love and Formidable Defense
OF

OUR COUNTRY
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Americanism is

Loyal Support
For the fundamental and undeniable principles for which America stands:
HONOR - To Be Good!  ~  LIBERTY - To Be Free!
EQUALITY - To Be One!  ~  JUSTICE - To Be Fair!  ~  HUMANITY - To Be Kind!

Our American Principles are basic truths and moral beliefs
That guide us and help us to know what is good and bad and what is right and wrong.

Our American Principles and Values are one and the same.
Our American Principles show us the way:
To Do - What is Right!
To Be - A Person of Good Character!  And To Be - All That We Can Be!

Our American Principles and Honorable Americans are what make our country great.
Our American Principles and Honorable Americans is the quintessence of Americanism.

It is imperative - just and right to disassociate the principles of:
Honor, Liberty, Equality, Justice and Humanity for which America stands
From the unprincipled behavior of dishonorable Americans - no matter who they are nor pretend to be.
For Our American Principles are innately and virtuously pure / essentially and perfectly complete / exactly and irrefutably distinct
And can never be associated with the unprincipled behavior of dishonorable Americans - no matter who they are nor pretend to be.

Americanism is

Everlasting Love
For The Honorable and Brave Patriotic Americans who founded our country
Everlasting Love
For The Honorable and Brave Patriotic Americans who have defended and who are defending our country
And Everlasting Love
For The Honorable Patriotic Americans who respect our principles

And
Americanism is

Formidable Defense
OF

OUR COUNTRY
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”
